Money is a part of everyone’s life – we need it to get by, and we use it to buy into great experiences. Saving, managing and growing it is a challenge in itself. What we are seeing today is a FinTech revolution. In the future, planning ahead financially will be very different from today. It will be a simpler, and more delightful experience.
This is a topic of interest for the LOFT, a global Fortune 500 financial services innovation team based out of Singapore as part of one of the world’s big financial institutions. The lab focuses on building innovative new ventures with its 11 markets in Asia, and training people in innovation methodology.
On March 7, the LOFT is organising its second Design Thinking x FinTech Future workshop session in collaboration with Impact HUB Tokyo. The purpose is to involve the community in a project focusing on making financial planning easier and intuitive. The LOFT has developed 7 prototypes of FinTech business ideas, and will explain in detail how each could make future planning easier. The workshop will also teach participants how to apply design thinking in order to come up with business ideas.
We are passionate about brainstorming FinTech business ideas that really make a difference. Together we can perhaps change the lives of millions!
The session will be facilitated Philipp Kristian from LOFT. Philipp is an innovation strategist who has helped shape innovation efforts of several Fortune 500s. He has a background in both design and strategy, advises impactful startups and speaks regularly on FinTech and Innovation. He is a KAIROS Society ASEAN fellow and was honoured by St. Gallen Symposium as a Leader of Tomorrow.
Refreshments will be provided for a small cover charge – so please feel free to join us for an engaging session on Tuesday, March 7, from 7:30-9:30pm at Impact HUB Tokyo!
